Signs from Lily

I think when you lose someone you are always looking for signs..at least I am. I know that Lily is always with me but I love little signs and I will take them any time that I can get them. For me many things remind me of Lily.. when I was ordering her headstone a white feather kept floating around the room and even the person helping us at Evergreen found it interesting-and he works at a cemetery.. :) So white feathers, lady bugs, hearts, the songs that I sang to her, things associated with Kosair Children's Hospital, Lily flowers of course.. etc.. the list of things that can be a sign goes on and on.. I doubt I am alone in looking for signs though. 

So my sister-n-law told me this (10/31/12): "The weirdest thing happened to us yesterday! Makynlea (this is my niece) was in her bed napping and when she woke up she had a big white feather stuck to her arm! No idea where it came from because we don't have anything with feathers in it... But Maddox (my nephew) immediately said it was Lily napping with her". That story happened on Tuesday and when I was at work yesterday look at what was waiting for me... a tiny baby white feather.. I even asked a co-worker what it was so I wasn't dreaming it up in my head... Love you Lily Grace.. keep sending the love messages....

Then on Friday, November 2, 2012:  When I got back in my car at work I had a tiny feather stuck to my windshield... I hope Lily's angel wings regenerate because she keeps leaving behind a feather from her wings ;)
**When I posted the original picture above on Facebook someone told me that it was Lily leaving behind a piece of her angel wings for me.. I thought it was sweet which is why I refer to them as part of her angel wings..**



Another sign.. Lady bugs remind us of Lily.. our Lily bug. I have seen a lady bug with no spots twice since Lily passed away. The first time was right after she passed away and that lady bug was at my back door one day when I came home. Then I saw another one right when we got to the Parents Left Behind Walk (on Sunday 11/4/12).. it was in my Mom's hair.. Hi Lily :)
